A Vision Born From a Mother's Journey
Founded by Aishwarya Priyadarshini, an Empanelled Designer with the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India and a Design alumnus of APJ School of Design with an MBA in Marketing, Aujjessa Maternity was born from a deeply personal journey.
When she stepped into motherhood after the birth of her son, she realized a gap in the market, beautiful, comfortable, and functional clothing for mothers that truly understands their needs. What began as a search for better clothing soon turned into a purpose-driven brand.
Aujjessa, "Women of Victory", was started with the mission to fulfil the aspirations and dreams of artisans engaged in handmade apparel. Her dedication and hard work led her to take this brand as a success story.
Aujjessa has been incubated at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and Indian School of Business, Mohali.

As an empanelled designer with the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Aishwarya travelled across India, working closely with artisans and discovering the stories woven into every handcrafted fabric.
What started as a celebration of Indian craftsmanship became a mission to keep these traditions alive while empowering the hands behind them.

Where Design Meets Technology
Aujjessa's journey is shaped by two complementary strengths, design and technology.
Aishwarya Priyadarshini, founder of Aujjessa, brought her design background, understanding of Indian craftsmanship, and personal experience of motherhood to the brand.
In 2019, her husband, Vikram Ghai, joined her journey. An Electronics Engineer with experience across multinational telecom companies, Vikram brought his expertise in building technology-driven businesses to help strengthen the venture.
Together, their complementary experience has helped Aujjessa grow while staying true to its purpose, creating maternity wear that brings together comfort, quality, craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
